Short answer. A Facebook ad account disabled notice lives in Ads Manager and Account Quality, not always on your personal login. Screenshot the reason, request a review as an admin, and send that shot if you want us to file it. If your personal profile is also blocked, appeal that screen too.
A Facebook ad account disabled message stops the ads. It does not always lock the person out of Facebook. People lose days appealing the wrong thing: the personal profile, the Page, or the ad account. Read the name on the screen before you pick a path.
Three locks that look alike
Personal profile. The login says “We disabled your account” or “We suspended your account.” That is Facebook account disabled. Pages and ads you manage go quiet when you cannot enter the profile that admins them.
Page. You can still log in, and the Page has its own restriction inside professional tools. That is closer to Meta Business Suite restricted.
Ad account. Ads Manager or Account Quality says the ad account is disabled. Campaigns stop. The Page can still be there. This page is that case.
Write down which of the three you can open. If two of them are blocked, screenshot both. One review does not cover the other screen.
Match the reason line
This page is the disable itself. The words under it have their own guides:
Circumventing systems: ad account disabled for circumventing systems.
Unacceptable business practices: that notice.
A payment or balance line: ad account disabled for a payment issue.
The account still opens but ads are held: Meta ad account restricted.
How to read the screen: Meta Account Quality.
Request the review from Account Quality
Use a computer if you can. Log in as the admin. Open the ad account that is disabled, or open Account Quality and select it.
Screenshot the whole notice: the ad account name, the reason line, and any button that says request a review. The reason might name a policy, a payment problem, or unusual activity. Appeal the line that is actually written. Do not guess a different reason because a forum said that is the common one.
The person who requests the review needs to be an admin. If a client owns the ad account and you run their ads, get the screenshot from them or have them start the review with you on the thread.
Submit the review once from that screen. Then watch the email on the ad account and on the admin profile. Keep the confirmation with the screenshots.
If Meta asks the admin for an ID or a business document, that upload happens inside their tools. We do not want a passport or a trade license in our inbox.
What to say in the note
If there is a text box, keep it factual.
The ad account name and the Page or Instagram profile it spends for.
The date the disable appeared.
What you advertise, in one sentence.
The reason printed on the notice, and why you want that decision reviewed.
If a hacker or a former employee had access, say when you removed them.
A shop, a creator, and an agency all use the same button. The sentence changes. Name the business. Do not write a life story.
If the profile is blocked too
You cannot reach Account Quality from a profile that will not log in. Appeal the profile notice first, with Facebook account disabled. Tell us about the ad account in the same message so both screens are in the case. Bring the ad account name even if you cannot open it today.
A linked Instagram professional account can lose its ads with the same business. Check Instagram separately. If that app shows a disable notice, add Instagram account disabled: how to get it back.
Hand us the screenshot
We prepare the review and file it through Meta’s own official channels. We open support chats, send follow-up emails, and push the case hard until it gets looked at. It takes a few days. The review of the notice is free. 100% refund if we can’t get your account back.
How it works is the three steps. Start a case on the contact page. Say “ad account” in the first line, and attach the Account Quality screenshot. Leave the password out. We never ask for it.
Is a disabled ad account the same as a disabled Facebook profile?
No. The ad account is the billing and ads tool. The profile is the person who logs in. You can have a disabled ad account while the profile still opens, or the other way around. Read the screen that actually names the ad account.
Who can request a review of a disabled ad account?
An admin on that ad account. If you are an advertiser on someone else's account, ask the admin to open the review, or have them message us with the screenshot.
Where do I see why the ad account was disabled?
In Meta ads tools, open Account Quality or the disabled ad account itself. The reason line is on that screen. Screenshot it before you tap through.
Can UnbanPro file the ad account review?
Yes. Send the ad account name, the Page it spends for, and a screenshot of the disable notice. We file through Meta's official channels. We never ask for the password. It takes a few days.
